Frequently Asked Questions
Does Saint Lucia allow dual citizenship?
Yes. Saint Lucia allows dual citizenship, and you are not required to renounce your existing nationality on their side. However, whether you can hold dual citizenship also depends on the laws of your current country — for example, Singapore does not generally permit dual citizenship. We recommend checking with your local immigration authority or speaking with our advisors.
How long does the application process take?
Officially, processing takes 3 to 6 months, depending on the country. However, real-world timelines may vary due to due diligence, document submission, and bank clearance.
What is the minimum investment required?
The National Economic Fund (NEF) route starts from USD 240,000, covering the main applicant and up to 3 dependents, excluding legal and processing fees. Real estate (from USD 300,000) and government bond (from USD 300,000 + USD 50,000 admin fee) routes are also available.
Is the investment refundable?
The NEF contribution is non-refundable. The real estate and government bond routes can be exited after a minimum 5-year holding period, with the bond option fully redeemable.
Are there any restricted nationalities?
Some countries may restrict applications from specific nationalities. Yobbi Consultancy will assess your eligibility during your initial consultation.
Can I include my family in the application?
Yes. You can include your spouse, children, and dependent parents or siblings in a single application. Each additional dependent adds USD 10,000 (under 18) or USD 20,000 (18 and above) to the NEF contribution.
