Can I switch jobs while on an Employment Pass in Singapore?
Yes, you can switch jobs while on an Employment Pass, but the new employer must apply for a new Employment Pass on your behalf. You cannot start working with the new employer until the new pass is approved.

Yes, it is possible to apply for a visa if you are self-employed or a freelancer, but you must demonstrate a sustainable business model and meet the qualifications for either an Employment Pass or other relevant passes, like the EntrePass if you plan to set up a company.
