Yobbi’s Singapore Homestay service provides international students with long-term accommodation, daily meals, and local support throughout their stay. With private rooms and practical support for daily life and school matters, we help students settle into Singapore while giving parents greater peace of mind.
Minimum Stay: 6 Months
What's Included in Our Homestay Service
- Long-term homestay placement (6 months minimum)
Students are placed in a suitable homestay arrangement for long-term stays. We do not provide short-term or holiday-only accommodation.
- Three Home-Cooked Meals a Day
Students receive three meals each day as part of the homestay arrangement.
- Private Room
Each student has their own private room, providing a comfortable space to rest, study and maintain their daily routine.
- Daily Life & Routine Support
Practical support to help students manage everyday needs and settle into life in Singapore.
- School Liaison
Assistance with day-to-day communication and school-related matters when required.
- Parent Updates
Regular updates help parents stay informed about their child’s wellbeing while studying in Singapore.
- Emergency & After-Hours Support
Local assistance is available when urgent situations arise, including after-hours support.
- Optional Academic Support
Students who need additional academic support can be optionally matched with our Live-in Family Educator service.

What is the minimum stay for Yobbi's homestay program?
We only arrange long-term homestay placements of 6 months or longer. We don’t offer short-term or holiday stays.
How do you keep us updated on our child's schooling and daily life?
We help liaise with your child’s school on day-to-day matters and keep parents updated regularly, so you always know how your child is settling in.
Does my child get their own room?
Room arrangements depend on the specific host family placement — we’ll confirm the exact accommodation details with you before your child arrives.
Can my child get extra help with schoolwork alongside the homestay?
Yes — many families combine homestay with our live-in Family Educator program for extra academic support and companionship after school.
What happens if there's an emergency?
Our team provides prompt support whenever something urgent comes up, so your child is never on their own.
How is this different from Yobbi's overseas student guardianship service?
Homestay covers where your child lives day-to-day — accommodation, meals and daily care. Guardianship is the separate legal role required for students under 18 in Singapore. We can help arrange both.
