Dependant Pass in Singapore is issued by MOM, allowing qualified professionals with work visas (such as EP) to legally bring their family members (spouses and underage children) to reside in Singapore.
Family members holding the Dependant Pass can reside in Singapore and, upon obtaining the necessary approval, are allowed to work or attend school.

Dependent Pass Eligibility Requirements
  • Employers or employment agents, such as corporate service providers, are required to apply for DP to support the primary work pass holder.
  • Earn a minimum fixed monthly salary of SGD 6000. Which is based on your salary, and not based on your combined household income.
  • DP is applicable to the spouses and unmarried children of work pass holders, including EntrePass, Employment Pass (EP), Personalised Employment Pass (PEP), and S Pass holders.
  • DP is valid for the same duration as the work pass.
  • DP can be renewed up to 6 months before its expiration.
  • Family members of EP, PEP, or EntrePass holders can work in Singapore by obtaining an Employment Pass, S Pass, Work Permit, or Letter of Consent (LOC). LOC is applicable only for applicants intending to operate a business.

Documents are required :
To process a DP application, you need to submit a detailed photocopy of passport (validity must exceed 6 months), birth certificate and you may be required to provide the following supplementary documents to meet MOM requirements:
  • A legally married spouse should attach a photocopy of the marriage certificate.
  • Children below the age of 21 should provide a photocopy of the official birth certificate.
  • Adopted children below the age of 21 should provide a photocopy certificate.
  • Children aged 12 and below need to provide a translated and notarized copy of their student vaccination records, along with the original vaccination record.
  • Children aged 12 and below should bring the English version of their vaccination records to the clinic, where the doctor will complete the vaccination registration form with a medical certificate.
  • All documents must be in English or officially translated into English.
Applications can be rejected for various reasons
  • The administered vaccines do not meet Singapore’s vaccination requirements.
  • The Immunisation Record Form (IRF) is not submitted.
  • IRF is incomplete or not signed by a verifying doctor.
  • IRF is incomplete without the parents’ names and signatures.
  • The mandatory vaccination section of IRF has not been completed.
  • The failure to submit a copy of the child’s vaccination records
  • Submission of non-English documents
  • Failure to provide an English translation
  • Failure to resubmit the necessary documents within the given timeframe may lead to rejection.
